Exodus 12:31-42
Sometimes, God speaks in a still,
small voice. Sometimes, He appeared to
His leaders in a dream while they slept.
Sometimes Jesus performed a quiet miracle
and only a few knew what had happened.
But sometimes, God moves in a mighty way!
When God promises that He will
do something, He can deliver!
And He did. Big time!
Pharaoh had repeatedly refused
to let the people go, but in the end,
he actually insisted that they leave!
Pharaoh had suggested various compromises
earlier, but when they left, they all left.
And went in style! The people didn't
just leave, they plundered the Egyptians first!
God has made us many great promises in
His word. Trust Him. He delivers!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Your word is true,
and Your promises are certain!
Help us to truly know that and
follow You completely, always knowing
that You will keep Your word.
P.S. Delivery is big business and
getting things delivered quickly and
in good condition is important to us.
And of course, FREE delivery is often a deal breaker
Well, God’s timing is best, so it
usually isn’t within 30 minutes
or less – although sometimes it is!
In any case, you can count on God
to do what He says and to do it RIGHT!
